Founded in 1946, the Portland State University is located in downtown Portland, Oregon. It has an overall enrollment of over 28,000 students, which includes 1750 international students from 93 countries. The university is a public institution that awards bachelors, masters and doctoral degrees. The academic programs span across the Colleges and Schools of the university, namely, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, College of Urban and Public Affairs, Graduate School of Education, College of Engineering and Computer Science, School of Business Administration, School of Extended Studies, School of Fine and Performing Arts, and School of Social Work.
