Louisiana Tech University was established in 1894 and is based in Ruston, Louisiana. It is a public institution offering undergraduate, graduate and doctoral degrees. There are over 10,000 students currently enrolled at the university. The academic programs span across the College of Business, College of Applied & Natural Sciences, College of Education, College of Engineering & Science and College of Liberal Arts. Moreover, there are specialty programs available in Business, Education and Nano systems Engineering, and Interdisciplinary Ph.D. programs in Computational Analysis and Modeling, Engineering and Science, and Micro manufacturing.
