The history of Hartford Seminary trace back to 1833, when a group of Congregational ministers formed the Pastoral Union of Connecticut to train ministerial leadership for the churches. The Seminary is located at Hartford, Connecticut. The Seminary is an educational institution where a consciousness of God is cultivated and shared. It awards the Doctor of Ministry, Professional Ministries Study Program, International PhD, Master of Arts, Cooperative Master of Divinity, Graduate Certificates, Islamic Chaplaincy and Academic Policies for Graduate Programs.
