George Washington University was founded in 1821 and is located in Washington, D.C. It is a private university and offers doctoral, masters, graduate certificate programs and undergraduate degrees. In addition to the main campus, the Virginia campus offers programs in the fields of engineering, management and technology. An array of undergraduate and graduate programs in the liberal arts and professional degree programs in medicine, public health, law, engineering, education, business and international affairs are offered by the university.
