I completed my PhD in Economics at the University of Minnesota in the year 2000. The title of my thesis was Essays on Trade and Technology. My supervisor was Prof. Thomas J Holmes. He is a Curtis L Clarkson Professor at University of Minnesota. Working with Professor Holmes was a great learning experience.

I had completed MA in Economics at the Delhi School of Economics, New Delhi, India prior to that.

My research interests are Industrial Organization, Industrial Economics and Political economy.

I have been working at the School of Economics ate the University of New South Wales, Australia. I have also been a visiting scholar at the Pennsylvania State University, USA, Delhi School of Economics, India and the Indian Statistical Institute, India.
