UTEP is definitely a good place for students. Overall I can give 9/10 score for this university, no matter what ever the department you mention....

GRE and TOEFL are mandatory. It was entirely self study and no coaching...I needed F1 to get in to the program. Visa Interview was easy. I got a real good deal for my travel from India to US from Air-India. I got help from the Indian students Association for my pickup from air port and accommodation.

9 out of 10 international students are financially awarded by the university.

UTEP is definitely a good place for students. The academic facilities are pretty good. I am really happy with the way my program is shaping up.

Very less cost of living as well as tuition fees. It is a dry place but Indians can survive pretty easily. Crime rate far less than the nations average.

Placements and jobs depend on student abilities and his hard work. Many Indians got Internships and direct jobs in many IT and Engineering companies.
