An international degree from a reputed institution really adds value to ones education. Having completed my bachelors degree from the IIT, Madras I decided to complete my higher education in the US. I expect to complete my PhD in 2011 from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.

There was no issue regarding my admit to the university. I had completed my bachelors in Electrical Engineering back in India and enrolled for a PhD in Computer Science.

I was awarded research assistantship by the university.

The university has state of the art facilities and the research facilities offered here are superb. The professors are mostly experts in their subjects and are quite helpful. I had the opportunity to take up various projects as a Research Assistant, Intuit Analyst and a Summer Intern. The experience gained was priceless.
