I would like to advice students have a vision i.e know where you want to be in next couple of years. Do not take any hasty decisions. Plan your future and take courses accordingly. Meet your respective advisors regularly, take their career guidance. Even though my university is a bit expensive, but the staff and placement cell is awesome.

I gave GMAT and scored 720 along with TOEFL. I used correspondence course from Dilip Oak's academy. We need F1 VISA ( Students Visa). Interview was ok, nothing extra-ordinary. I came by Singapore Airlines. Getting a ticket for this airlines was easy as I came here during spring season. I landed at SFO airport. It takes 45 mins to reach my university. Baggage: Check-in - 2 bags weighing 23kgs & cabin bag - 1 weighing 8 kgs. Maximum upto 25 was allowed for 1st time flyers. Yep, we had 'Meet and Greet' service.

I never had any problem with the way my program was being organized. Professors are very helpful here. Lecture/Theory hall is fully equipped and well maintained.

I stayed with my friends in a flat close to my university. There is a International students society in our university. It is easy to get part time job but I would suggest not to take up any job during 1st semester. Weather in CA is superb.

We have a placement cell which helps students to get calls from different companies. When I graduated, it was very easy to get calls. I had applied for 3 companies and received calls from all 3. We do have a campus placement process (but it is not that active). There is a alumni society which is pretty much active. Yes, they do take care of placements also.
