Work hard & network!!

I had to take the TOEFL exam. I prepared using training books and through online. Thevisa interview was ok, it's hard to get a visa in my country. I flew United Airlines, no special fares for students. I landed in O'hare airport, 40 minutes away from train. No meet and greet service.

No waivers for tuition.

The program structure is ok. Professors are good. It's very hard to get hold of part time jobs for international students.

I'm living with roommates. Weather is fine. Winter is cold, night life is ok. Not sure if there is an international student society.

I think it is hard to get jobs for international students. And for international students, most of them do not have social security number, which makes it harder to find jobs. Not sure about alumni network.
