我的专攻是单词的学习策略，因为单词学习一直是我们课堂的重头戏、高中英语课堂的瓶颈，耗时多、收效低，如何省事省力地拿下单词是目前高中英语教师的首要问题。为了解决这个问题，在外籍老师的指导下，我研读了十几本论著，最后完成了我的学术论文------How to Train Good Vocabulary Learner.

除了正常的读书、看当地的英文报之外，我会尽量利用图书馆的资源，争取每天看一部英文大片，全方位、多角度地了解西方文化的同时，不知不觉地听力也在进步。外籍教师Alex前后与我们一起欣赏、分析了几部电影，如：The Importance of Being Earnest,Harry Potter,Educate Terry,Osacar Wilde等，学会了了解影片背后的时代背景。我在英国进修期间看了大约四十几部经典大片。将来我会引导我的学生欣赏英美大片，英语本身就是一门工具，英语教学的最终目的就是语用能力。何乐而不为呢！？
