課程介紹:: Andover College's medical assisting program aims to provide students with an education that can prepare them to enter the medical workforce with demonstrated technical skills, work ethics, and professional values. These are characterized by students who achieve entry-level competencies, promote a positive attitude, contribute as team players, are responsible professionals, and are empathetic to patients' needs.

錄取要求:: An applicant seeking admission to Andover College must be a high school graduate or possess a General Education Development (GED) certificate or possess a Home Study certificate or transcript from a Home Study program that is equivalent to high school level and is recognized by the student's home state. All applicants must complete an informational interview. They must obtain minimum TOEFL scores of 477 on the paper-based test or 153 on the computer-based test or Kaplan’s most advanced-level English language courses, if English is not the student’s primary language.

申請詳情:: Students should submit the completed application form with a $100 application fee, official transcripts of all work done at the secondary level or above (official transcripts submitted that are not in English will require an official translation), official TOEFL exam scores, declaration of finances and completed health form.

By 1998, Andover College became the first school of its kind in Maine to receive accreditation from the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). In 2004, the Lewiston campus enrolled its first class. In the beginning of 2005, Andover College was purchased by Kaplan Higher Education Corporation (KHE), to be a part of its Kaplan Higher Education Campuses (KHEC) division. By joining such a prestigious company, Andover College has been given the support to continue the same excellent education for which it is known. The mission of Andover College is to empower students to achieve their professional goals by providing education and training through a positive learning experience. The instructors of this College pay personal attention to their educational needs and interests and can help them develop the technical skills and job knowledge they need to be successful in their chosen field.
